To
those who are lost trials, tribulation, hurt and lost are just negative
aspects of life without reason. They just happen. But when they happen
to a Christian it is an opportunity to cling to God in the midst of the
calamity, a chance to know Him better.
Maturity is knowing that in
the midst of the pain we can hold on to our faith expecting and knowing
that God will bring us through.

The
language of God can only be understood by the spirit of God that is in
you. The spirit of God is only in you if you have accept what His son
has done for you on the cross. Intellectualism is insufficient to
understand spiritual concepts. It is a different language.

You are saved by God’s grace through the faith provided by God. We do

ourselves. It is a gift from God. He has already done it all on our
behalf.

you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him
better. 18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in
order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches
of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, Ephesians 1:17-18
This
prayer is just as valid and needed today as it was when this was
written. Pray that God would open your heart that you may see the hope
that he has called you to. That you would receive the spirit of wisdom
and revelation and that you might know the Lord better. That you may
receive the wonderful inheritance that is reserved for you.
