The Cornerstone Of Christianity
Something to think about.
The cornerstone of Christianity.
As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed. 6 “Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “You are looking for Jesus the
Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place
where they laid him.’” Mark 16:5-6 (NIV)
Not his virgin birth, not his sinless life but his resurrection. Our
whole spiritual belief system rests on the resurrection. It rests on the
God of creation breaking the laws of space and time, life and death to
claim his son. To bring the one that was sacrificed and died for our
sins back to him and gave him a new life. This is our hope, our
resurrection.
