Fight the good fight

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 8 Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that Day, and not only to me but also to all who have loved his appearing. 2 Timothy 4:8

We do not fight in vain for the lord our God Is victorious and will reward us for our steadfast love of Him.

Spirit and Wisdom

I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. 18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, Ephesians 1:17-18

This prayer is just as valid and needed today as it was when this was written. Pray that God would open your heart that you may see the hope that he has called you to. That you would receive the spirit of wisdom and revelation and that you might know the Lord better. That you may receive the wonderful inheritance that is reserved for you.

Christ is preparing a place for you in the house of the Lord.

All of man's wisdom leads to nothing but God's foolishness leads to salvation.

Another Facet of God's Love

1 SEE WHAT [an incredible] quality of love the Father has given (shown, bestowed on) us, that we should [be permitted to] be named and called and counted the children of God! And so we are! The reason that the world does not know (recognize, acknowledge) us is that it does not know (recognize, acknowledge) Him.

2 Beloved, we are [even here and] now God's children; it is not yet disclosed (made clear) what we shall be [hereafter], but we know that when He comes and is manifested, we shall [as God's children] resemble and be like Him, for we shall see Him just as He [really] is. I am humble and and extremely grateful and thankful that God has adopted me as one of his own. His love for me extends that far, it is amazing.

He knew you. He had to know you to choose you. Still he chose you and gave you a purpose.
