Our High Priest
14 Seeing
then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the
heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. 15 For
we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews:14-16
He
came from heaven, was tempted as we are tempted, yet sinless. He knows
us. We can come before the throne of God because He is one of us.
Because He lived as we live we can come before the throne and receive
mercy and grace.

He Breathed His Last

He Breathed His Last
46 Jesus
called out with a loud voice, “Father, into your hands I commit my
spirit.” When he had said this, he breathed his last. Luke 23:46
It actually happened He was crucified for my sin.

Completion

Completion
And I am sure of
this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion
at the day of Jesus Christ. Philippians 1:6
It is God who is working in you, through you and for you. It is He who will bring you to the fullness of life in Christ Jesus.

Our High Priest

Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into
heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we
profess.15 For we do not have a high priest who is
unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been
tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin.16
Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we
may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. Hebrews
4:14-16
He knows us because He lived among us. We know we can approach God because He is there for us.
