We
must live intentionally. We must willfully submit. We must actively,
purposely resist the devil. We must search after, move toward, engage
with God and He will engage with us. It is our turn to seek after Him.

Maturity
Something to think about.
Maturity
2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. 4 Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. James 1:2-4
To
those who are lost trials, tribulation, hurt and lost are just negative
aspects of life without reason. They just happen. But when they happen
to a Christian it is an opportunity to cling to God in the midst of the
calamity, a chance to know Him better.
Maturity is knowing that in
the midst of the pain we can hold on to our faith expecting and knowing
that God will bring us through.

Equipped
20 May the God
of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back
from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, 21
equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in
us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for
ever and ever. Amen. Hebrews 13 20-21
God can and wants to equip you “with everything good for doing his will”, the only question is do you want to be equipped?

Having Vision

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses,
let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily
entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. 2
Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith,
who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame,
and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:1-2
Keep
your eyes and focus on Jesus our savior who is sitting at the right
hand of God. Stay firm, finish the race set before you that you may also
be invited to sit before the throne of God.

Pleasing God

Pleasing God
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone
who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those
who earnestly seek him. Hebrews 11:6
To please God you must have faith, belief, and you must seek him. Ironically if you do these things you will be rewarded.

Forgotten
16 "This is the covenant I will make with them after that time, says the Lord. I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds." 17 Then he adds: "Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more." Hebrews 10: 16-17
If his laws are in your heart, in your mind, your sins will be remembered no more.
