Something to think about.
Permanence
The grass withers, the flower fades,
but the word of our God will stand forever. Isaiah 40:8 (ESV)
Someday all we know will pass away, all of the prognostication, prophecies, victories and failures will vanish. But God, the word of God who was and is and is to come will remain.
