Inexpressible Joy
8 Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy,
A conundrum it must be to all who choose not to believe, our "inexpressible and glorious joy." We should wake up every day exuberant with joy for the knowledge we have of our assured future. None other has offered to me and confirmed for me my eternal salvation. My joy is not only in what has been promised but also in what's been done. His resurrection as the first, His complete payment for my debt ensures my salvation for eternity. Why? Because I believe in the unseen God.

Proof
Something to think about.
Proof
“And truly Jesus did many other signs in the presence of
His disciples, which are not written in this book; but these are
written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God,
and that believing you may have life in His name.”John 20:30-31 NKJV
The purpose of the gospels is to provide proof of the deity of
Christ. The gospels serve no other purpose. Yes, you can glean and
learn much about living, but at its core, the gospels are for our
salvation. Christianity is Christ, not what we may want to turn it into.
Do you believe the gospels? Do you believe in the claims of Christ? Do
you believe in the resurrection? Your life will answer these questions much louder than your mouth.

Engagement
Something to think about.
Engagement
17 pray without ceasing, 1 Thessalonians 5:17
How in the world are we supposed to do that? How much time do we spend worrying, spend consumed with and event, situation, crisis? How often does this worrying, being overwhelmed by the problem result in positive resolution? Would it not be better to spend that time seeking Gods resolutions? Actively interacting with God to arrive at the best solution. Praying without ceasing is not a passive activity. It is intentional action between you and God to resolve a real problem. It means seeking Gods will inch by inch step by step, a constant reliance on God. That is how you pray unceasingly. It is an intentional continual practice of engagement with God.

Risen
Something to think about.
Risen
5 But the angel answered and said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. 6 He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. Matthew 28: 5-6
"He is risen," spoken by an angel of God defines the destiny of humanity. This man Jesus died. Not an uncommon occurrence, as a matter of fact, is is a very common occurrence it will happen to everyone of us. What is unique is that He was brought back to life. His resurrection and the power of God that resurrected Him sets Him apart from every other person that has ever lived. His life and ministry took on a whole new meaning because He became the first to come into a new life. Do you understand, without the resurrection, Jesus would probably have been lost and forgotten in the pages of history? After his crucifixion, all of His apostles were in hiding in fear for their lives. Without the resurection, they all would have scattered and disappeared. Without this event, we would have nothing to believe in. But since it did happen it changes everything even our very lives. "He is Risen" are the most important words ever spoken.

Cornerstone
Something to think about.
Cornerstone
6 For it stands in Scripture: "Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone, a cornerstone chosen and precious, and whoever believes in him will not be put to shame."7 So the honor is for you who believe, but for those who do not believe, "The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone,"8 and "A stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense."They stumble because they disobey the word, as they were destined to do. Peter 2:6-8
The crux of the problems of man is found in this verse. We are stumbling over the cornerstone that is Christ. To many, the ministry and life of Christ have become an offense not because it is offensive but because it is truth. People refuse to believe the truth that is Christ, and as a result, they stumble and fall. Christ is the rock that will not go away or be moved. He is the rock of salvation to those who believe in Him.

Within You
Something to think about.
Within You
15 "If you love me, you will keep my commandments. 16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, 17 even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you. John 14:15-17
If you believe, love and obey Him, He has given us the spirit of truth forever. The world is not capable of receiving the spirit of truth because they have not loved, believed or obeyed Him.

An Inheritance in Heaven

An Inheritance in Heaven
3
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his
great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through
the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 to an inheritance
that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you,
Ephesians 1:3-4
This is what we have received, it is already done and reserved for you and me.

The Father's Love
Something to think about.
The Father's Love
27 for the Father himself loves you, because you have loved me and have believed that I came from God. John 16:26-27 (NIV)
God loves us because we recognize and love His son.

Believe, Salvation, Life
Something to think about.
Believe, Salvation, Life
15
And he said to them, "Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to
the whole creation. 16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved,
but whoever does not believe will be condemned. Mark 16:15-16
Jesus put it very plainly, simply, believe in me and be saved. The gospel (good news) is Jesus.
