Was it recorded for us? This verse can't be regarding Israel. As Israel already existed when it was written so it could not be "a people yet to be created." What other people claim the God of Abraham Issac and Jacob? (Exodus 3:15) Christians are the only other people in the world that call on the great "I Am." We the adopted children of God are that people, we are that generation. We were created that we may praise the Lord. Praise the Lord.

A Generation to Come
Was it recorded for us? This verse can't be regarding Israel. As Israel already existed when it was written so it could not be "a people yet to be created." What other people claim the God of Abraham Issac and Jacob? (Exodus 3:15) Christians are the only other people in the world that call on the great "I Am." We the adopted children of God are that people, we are that generation. We were created that we may praise the Lord. Praise the Lord.

King
Something to think about.
King
5 “Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will raise up for David a righteous Branch, and he shall reign as king and deal wisely, and shall execute justice and righteousness in the land. Jeremiah 23:5 (ESV)
Jeremiah is referring to Jesus in this passage but what does the word "King" mean context to Christ. The synonyms are ruler, sovereign, monarch, emperor, prince, potentate, Lord and yet in reference to Christ these synonyms are not enough. He is so much more He is the meaning and purpose of our lives He is the reward. He is the final word He is the first word He is our very hope and at the same time the fulfillment of our hope. He is our security our love. In him, we find the reason we live. He is our very life He is our eternity. He is justice. He is King, and He is sovereign. He is worthy of our worship and praise he is God. With all we try to discrbe Him He libves outsdie the wall of our invention. He always has been more than we can fully comprhend. He is our King and we are His willing subjects.

For This Very Purpose
Something to think about.
For This Very Purpose
“For the
Scripture says to the Pharaoh, “For this very purpose I have raised you
up, that I may show My power in you, and that My name may be declared in
all the earth.””
Romans 9:17 NKJV
You
may think I will have nothing to do with God, you may even believe God
does not exist. The truth is you have no say in the matter. God is not
affected by your erroneous beliefs. God is going to use you to carry out
His purposes with your permission or not. In every situation exist the
opportunity to glorify God. In the end, he will be Glorified, and you
will be an instrument He uses to bring Him glory. This prophecy will be
fulfilled, 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things
in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 And that
every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of
God the Father. Philippians 2:10-11 (KJV)

Risen
Something to think about.
Risen
5 But the angel answered and said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. 6 He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. Matthew 28: 5-6
"He is risen," spoken by an angel of God defines the destiny of humanity. This man Jesus died. Not an uncommon occurrence, as a matter of fact, is is a very common occurrence it will happen to everyone of us. What is unique is that He was brought back to life. His resurrection and the power of God that resurrected Him sets Him apart from every other person that has ever lived. His life and ministry took on a whole new meaning because He became the first to come into a new life. Do you understand, without the resurrection, Jesus would probably have been lost and forgotten in the pages of history? After his crucifixion, all of His apostles were in hiding in fear for their lives. Without the resurection, they all would have scattered and disappeared. Without this event, we would have nothing to believe in. But since it did happen it changes everything even our very lives. "He is Risen" are the most important words ever spoken.

Inheritance
Something to think about.
Inheritance
12 giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. 13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, 14 in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins. Colossians 1:12-14
The dominion of darkness has no place in our lives as we have been transplanted into the kingdom of His son. We have access to His kingdom because we have been redeemed through the shedding of His blood, for the forgiveness of our sin. We are grateful, thankful that God the Father has made us inheritors of His amazing riches.

Choose This Day
Something to think about.
Choose This Day
"But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 24:15
This is a famous quote and declaration by Joshua. It, in essence, says I have decided my family, and I will stand for God. However, let's take this in context.
14 “Now therefore, fear the Lord, serve Him in sincerity and in truth, and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the River and in Egypt. Serve the Lord! 15 And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 24:14-15
He is talking to all of Israel, and he is drawing a line, a litmus test. He is defining a clear distinction between the God of Israel and the gods of the world. Joshua is saying you can't have it both ways, you must choose. Then He says, "But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” He is saying you are free to choose the Gods of this world but even if you do, even if all of you do, me and my house will serve the Lord. He is saying I have determined that if I am the only one that will stand with God so be it, I will. Before you make the same declaration as Joshua are you really ready to stand alone in your school in your university, job, community, city, state, and country? Are you willing to stand alone against all others and say I will serve the Lord?

He Can Do All Things
Something to think about.
He Can Do All Things
““Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?”
Jeremiah 32:27 NKJV
There is nothing that God can't do. He is the one with the answer to your problem. He is the hope of your soul. Turn to Him because He can help you.

Talking About Jesus

Bondservant
Something to think about.
Bondservant
5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, 7 but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. Philippians 2:5-7
It is one thing to be born a servant. It is quite a different thing to be the King Of Kings, and willingly become a servant to the very same people He rules. That is what Jesus did, He gave up his power, prestige, authority, sovereignty, majesty, glory, and all the other kingly attributes, to become a servant to man. To be Christ-like is to be a bondservant of Christ. It is to willingly lay down all of our titles and take up our positions behind our King and becomes as He was a servant. Leia Mais…

Leadership
Something to think about.
Leadership
21 For the shepherds are stupid
and do not inquire of the Lord;
therefore they have not prospered,
and all their flock is scattered. Jeremiah 10:21
Yes, that is actually in the bible.
The present state of national leadership, presidential, senatorial and congressional is stupid. They are ignoring the word of God, if they know it, and expected that their education and intellect would suffice to bring prosperity and unity to our land. As we journey farther from the word of God, we move further from prosperity, and our divisiveness will continue to escalate. Because the wisdom of man is insufficient to tackle the problems of man. We need God.

Lord of All Nations
Something to think about.
Lord of All Nations
1 Praise the Lord, all nations!
Extol him, all peoples!
2 For great is his steadfast love toward us,
and the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever.
Praise the Lord! Psalms 117:1-2
The
psalmist instructs us to praise the God of all nation. He tells us that
the Lords love is steadfast and His faithfulness endures forever.
We
live in perilous times evil abounds in our homes, corporately and
nationally. Could this be a result of lack of praise? Will God
acknowledge the prayers of people who will not acknowledge Him, that
will not praise him? We have replaced the praise of God with the praise
of man. We praise our athletes, actors, scholars, politicians and our
pastors and we have reaped the consequences of such praise. If we are
to prosper as a family, nation, country or world, we need to turn to the
God of creation and give Him the praise He deserves.
1 Praise the Lord, all nations!
Extol him, all peoples!

Perfect
Something to think about.
Perfect
As for God, his way is perfect: The LORDʼs word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him.
Psalm 18:30 NIV
Take refuge in the Lord, accept His flawless word, and it will lead you to His perfect way. The problem with this is we regularly depend on our word and in our way. Then when we do not arrive in His perfect "way," we wonder why.

Know Your God
Something to think about.
Know Your God
17 Though the fig tree should not blossom,
nor fruit be on the vines,
the produce of the olive fail
and the fields yield no food,
the flock be cut off from the fold
and there be no herd in the stalls,
18 yet I will rejoice in the Lord;
I will take joy in the God of my salvation.
19 God, the Lord, is my strength;
he makes my feet like the deer's;
he makes me tread on my high places.
Habakkuk 3:17-19 (ESV)
If you find yourself in need with no prospects, the only way you can “take joy in the God of my salvation” is if you know your God. If you don't know your God, you will be crushed by the persistent challenges of life.

Increased Faith
Something to think about.
Increased Faith
20 He
said to them, “Because of your little faith. For truly, I say to you, if
you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this
mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will
be impossible for you.” Matthew 17:20(ESV)
6 Then he said to me,
“This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: Not by might, nor by power,
but by my Spirit, says the Lord of hosts. Zechariah 4:6 (ESV)
Increased
faith…I felt the Lord speak to me about the battles. They won’t be won
by determination or grit, but by faith, through faith, and with
faithfulness. I have faith, but I want more.

Unsurpassed Value
Something to think about.
Unsurpassed Value
8 Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ. Philippians 3:8
The
world does not possess anything of sufficient value to replace Christ.
All the riches of the world do not achieve any value before the
knowledge of Christ. He is simply worth so much more.

Emulate
Something to think about
Emulate
So the chief priests
made plans to kill Lazarus as well, 11 for on account of him many of the
Jews were going over to Jesus and believing in him. John 12:10-11
I
can’t be like Christ; I can't raise people from the dead, I can’t offer
a sacrifice that will make atonement for their sin, I can’t save them, I
can't give them eternal life, I can't forgive their sins.
I can be like Lazarus; I can be a living testimony of what He has done in my Life.

Living and Active
Something to think about.
Living and Active
12 For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. Hebrews 4:12 (ESV)
The word of God is not antiquated, old, out of touch or irrelevant. It discloses the intent of the heart. It identifies and convicts man of his sin, and it will live forever.

New Every Morning
Something to think about.
New Every Morning
22 The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases;
his mercies never come to an end;
23 they are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23 (ESV)
I
am grateful that the mercy of God towards me did not cease yesterday.
Every day His love grants me all the mercy I need for this day. Thank
you God for your mercy.

Water of Life
Something to think about.
Water of Life
13 Jesus answered and said to her, “Whoever
drinks of this water will thirst again, 14 But whoever drinks of the
water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I
shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into
everlasting life.” John 413-14
We can continue to drink the
water of man’s intellect and reason and continue to be left wanting or
we can drink from the well which is Christ and be filled.
