He is Alive

Something to think about.

He is Alive

26 Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. Genesis 1:26

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. John 1:1

6 He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. Matthew 28:8

17 When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. But he laid his right hand on me, saying, "Fear not, I am the first and the last, 18 and the living one. I died, and behold I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of Death and Hades. Revelations 1:17-18

I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end."

Revelation 22:13 (ESV)

All of these verses have a common denominator they are all talking about A living God.  Jesus died on the cross and was risen from the dead by God the father.

Do we take it for granted? Is it a concept that does not quite touch our reality? Is it an idea the brushes against the ends of our imaginings not quite real? Is it a happening that is so uncommon to us that we put it in the category of maybe? The resurrected living Christ is an enigma we cannot discard.

Jesus tells Paul “and behold I am alive forevermore.” This statement along with the angel saying to Martha “He is not here; for He is risen” changed everything. The two statements attest to the same thing Jesus is alive. If you believe these witnesses and others, the reality of Jesus being alive will alter your life. Once this concept is moved from the furthest reaches of your mind and brought into focus, your life will not be the same.  Jesus, the son of God, is alive and He said, “And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:20

He is alive, and He will never leave you. Regardless of what you have been taught grab hold of this truth, Jesus is alive.  He is alive today. He promised never to leave you. The Son of God, the beloved of the father, is alive and with you always. Once you take this out of the figurative and move it into the actual nothing will ever be the same. The power of the Son of God walks with you, and if you listen, He will talk with you. If you take a step back, He will guide you He will protect you. He will nourish you. All this and so much more is available to you in real time. Jesus is as alive now as He was at the beginning as John stated. He is “the first and the last” as Paul quotes Him as saying. He is the “Alpha and the Omega.” And He is “alive forevermore.”  Jesus is alive.
