37 All that My Father gives Me will come to Me; and the one who comes to Me I will most certainly not cast out. John 6:37

Jesus promises us He will never reject us. In my interpretation, this verse means that anyone who has responded to the call of Christ now belongs to Him and he will not get rid of. You can't cast out, get rid of something that is not yours.
The implication is He has accepted us as we are and will not reject us. There is no precondition to coming to Christ. If there is no precondition, then all that come to Christ in any condition will be accepted by Him. And He said He would not cast you out. Regardless of your state, Christ will keep you. You will always be His.
